Fortis Defense Shooting Range
- Rifle range is open for day and nighttime use. Operating hours are from 9 am-8 pm, Tuesday-Sunday. The range will be closed on Mondays for range maintenance.
This range is 100 yards and utilizes ar500 steel gongs with a 10” plate positioned at 50yds, 8” plate positioned at 75 yds, and a 6” plate positioned at 100 yards. 4” and 2” steel at 100 yards will be added in the coming weeks. This range has 3 points with a shooting table and the option of left or right-handed positions at each point. Each lane has its own painted steel plates.
No shotguns or automatic rifles are allowed on the rifle range. No rifles above a 338 on this range.
- Open range will also be available for the same operating hours however, this is not a lighted range for nighttime shooting. On this range, there are no static points to shoot from so you are free to move up and down the range and you can fire any firearm. There are no caliber restrictions with the exception of shotguns. If you are shooting a shotgun, NO scatter rounds are allowed if using our target stands, only slugs. Scatter rounds may be utilized if you are using your own stand. This is the only range you may fire rapid-fire or automatic on.
- Pistol range has 9 points. Until we install the trolly system, the shooting platform will not be open and all shooting will be done from the ground utilizing the barrels as we have always had out here. Semi-auto handguns and revolvers are the only firearms allowed on this range. Absolutely NO rapid or automatic firing on this range.

We are a private gun range meaning EVERYONE will be required to obtain a membership unless you are a guest of a current member. Members are required to be 21 years of age when membership is purchased. All memberships will require an application found on our website.
Fees-
There are three membership options
Single Annual- $150 / $50 initiation. Members are allowed one guest per visit with a fee of $10 per guest.
Family Annual (up to 4 in household) - $350 / $50 initiation (covers all 4). Members are allowed one guest per visit with a fee of $10 per guest. Family membership only covers persons residing in your household. If you have children or a friend you would like to bring out that does not reside in your household, they will be required to pay the $10 guest fee.
Corporate Annual - $750 (up to 10 employees) / $125 initiation (covers all 10) Members are allowed one guest per visit with a fee of $10 per guest.
Access is controlled by a key fob given at the time of initiation. If your key fob is lost, a $25 fee will be accessed for a replacement fob. When scanning your key fob at the gate, only one person is required to scan for access if you are in the same vehicle. If in multiple vehicles, an additional key fob is required for access. Parking at the range is VERY limited. If there are only a few people but multiple vehicles, please park your vehicle at the main entrance and share a vehicle.
Targets-
$3 per B-27 style full-size silhouette target or you are welcome to bring your own. We will add additional style full-size targets soon.
Shooters are responsible for picking up their trash. Shooters are also responsible for picking up their shell casings and disposing of them in the proper containers located at the range. Additional safety rules will be briefed during your membership initiation. No horseplay of ANY kind will be tolerated. If a shooter fires at ANYTHING not intended to be shot and damages property, fees will be accessed. *Any violations of this or safety rules will result in immediate dismissal from the range of members and guests, no exceptions. Membership will be revoked with no refund. Ranges are monitored by cameras for your protection and protection of others on the range.
Scheduling-
As with most gun ranges, when you have a membership, you never know if a bay/lane is available until you show up. In order to alleviate this at our range, you will be required to schedule your time and bay/lane. This will be done on our website. This way you always know what’s available and you will have a bay/lane or lanes depending on what you reserve. To explain this a little more. If you are a member and have a guest with you, you can either share the lane you booked or you may reserve an additional lane for your guest(s). You may reserve as much time as available. You also have the option of reserving a specific lane(s) every day, week, month, year as you would like all at the same time. This way, you know you will have something available daily, weekly, or monthly depending on how often you shoot. If you are unable to make your reservation, you are required to go one line and cancel your reservation in order for someone else to book a spot. If you reserve something and do not show on three occasions throughout your membership, you will lose the option of reserving a lane. If you intend to shoot a handgun and rifle, you will need to schedule lanes on all ranges you intend to use.
