Tactical Training Courses:

Tactical Handgun Level-1

This course is designed to develop skills for the student with limited experience who uses his/her firearm as a primary firearm in a tactical environment. The course will start with developing fundamental shooting skills and will focus on the shooting and handling of a handgun in relation to its real-world application thus increasing the student’s confidence with his/her weapon. This course can be fast-paced depending on the capabilities of the students. We are only as fast as our slowest person. Students will engage targets out to 25 yards with emphasis on proper use of cover, shooting positions and their ability on rapid threat assessment. This course will require you to move, kneel, lay down and shoot one handed so ensure you have no physical conditions that will prevent you from completing these tasks.

Upon completion of this course, the student must show understanding and proficiency on the Fortis Defense Tactical Handgun Level I course prior to advancing to the next level.
